Cool Heat & Save Up to 35% on Electricity

Enjoy a softly warm flow of circulated heat by selecting this very quiet heater's oscillation that rotates up to about ½ circle.
Here's how it has been designed to save up to 35% on electricity, which means a small contribution to lowering greenhouse gases - on the top of this heater is its Energy Smart knob that has six basic settings: -- "frost watch" - 65 F. - 70 F. - 75 F. - 80 F. - maximum heat.
On "Maximum Heat" the heater goes full force and does not save electricity. On the other settings the heater automatically selects the appropriate power level to best accommodate your desired temperature selected. As the temperature in the room approaches the set temperature, the heater will automatically lower the power consumption and provide consistent warmth without wasting energy. This also means your room will heat to the set temperature without overheating the room -- a real nice feature.
The illuminated LED lights indicate what the current room temperature is. The "frost watch" automatically turns the unit on if the temperature drops below 55 F. to help protect against freezing of pipes or frost damage.
This heater also has an auto-off tip over switch and Overheat Protection; plus a 3 year warranty. And, its operation is almost silent and it's cool to the touch. Five stars for Honeywell's design and quality control of this Made in China product.

I love this little heater! I bought this to help heat my trailer. It does such a great job that my furnace has hardly kicked on, even on the 32 degree and below nights we have already had! I really like how you can set the temperature and the heater actually seems to run and heat according to the actual room temp, not the heaters temp or the immediate areas temp. When I was out looking at heaters, a Lowe's employee told me that the thermostat is on the top of the heater so the closer to the floor you can place it the more accurate the heater's thermostat will read, so therefore the heater will run more accurately. I have mine set about 18" off the floor at one end of a 450sq. ft area. My thermostat is across the room and reads fairly close to what I have the heater set for!!!
I also bought this for the safety features. The outside stays cool and if it tips over it shuts off. I have a curious 1 year old so these features were very important to me. It also has a slim design so it fits well up buy the wall out of the way. It is pretty quiet too.
I highly recommend this heater and intend to buy one for my bedroom as well! |
The heater works perfectly!

I bought this heater at Wal-Mart for $40.00 so Amazon's price is higher plus it doesn't include taxes and shipping. The unit itself is wonderful. I have a 15x14 bedroom and it gets my room up to 80 degrees in no time. It's not extremely quiet but it's not so loud that it drowns out the TV. I love the fact you can tell what temperature it is in the room right on the heater and that it swivels back and forth on it's own. The feature that was most important to me is that the front face/grill of it wouldn't be hot to the touch and no matter what the temperature it stays cool. So I don't have to worry about anyone getting burned or it tipping over on something and burning the house down.
I bought another heater (smaller) for my office cubicle and that one's going back because it throws heat but only in one direction and the front/grill gets hot. For it to be effective it would have to sit on my desk and that's not possible. So, I'll just pick-up another Honeywell. I highly recommend this Honeywell heater, I haven't had to turn on the heat so far and with these units I hopefully won't have to all winter long. |
The cord is very long...it's in the comparment of the base of the unit

| This is a good heater. I have it and it serves it's purpose good. What I wanted to say most importantly is that the cord is very long. What most people do not realize is that it is wrapped up underneath the base...so it is hidden. If you look underneath you'll see it...it's a storage compartment for the cord. |
Works Great

| I turned down the heat in my house and night and turned this on in my bedroom. My gas bill dropped enough in one month to pay for this heater! Awesome! |
good little heater with a 75 inch cord

This little heater seems to work just fine. I'm not sure what others are saying regarding the cord being too short. If you turn the heater over and look under the base, there is a total length of 75 inches of cord wrapped around a built in "cord wrap". The manual doesn't say they don't recommend an extension cord, they mention if an extension cord is necessary, you must use a heavy duty minimum 14 gauge extension cord minimum 1850 watt; they simply want you to use a "real" extension cord not a wimpy little cheap cord like most people would try to use. After reading the reviews I figured I would pick up a 15 ft 14 G cord at Lowe's for ten bucks on the way to Best Buy for the heater, but after coming home and unpacking my new Hz-7200 heater, I was surprised to find the cord on my heater measures at 75 inches. So the extension cord is going back. There's more than 6 feet of cord on this heater which is more than practical for me.
The heater works as advertised. It takes the chill out of the space where I spend a lot time which is my purpose for this supplemental heater. No space heater is designed to work as well as your furnace, that's ridiculous to even have that expectation. For supplementing heat in a medium+ size room, this little guy is worth it's weight in gold. I am using it in a 13 x 16 room and at a medium setting, it has taken the chill out of the room within 10-15 minutes of turning it on. This room has an 8ft wide door wall, and it's 20 degrees outside right now as I type. I'm keeping mine unless it stops working.
BTW, the heater has been running for quite a while now and the cord isn't even warm. I think if people have issues with the cord becoming hot then they either got a defective unit or they really "do" have an electrical issue with their outlet and maybe they needed to know about that anyway. This unit is available locally, so if something were to go wrong, I have my original box and I'll return it. Customer service is very good these days around town.

| I had bought this heater for a friend of mines that lives out in the desert. Thats the only means of heating they have. They use it to heat the bedroom that is about 13X16 ft and they were very happy with the results. They needed a heater that was compact and to where it would not be easily tipped over by animals. |
What a gem!

My previous heater was a Vornado at nearly twice the price. The Vornado died after 2 years of minimal use, and I needed a replacement. I thought about getting a Vornado, but saw this little gem.
I am very happy I chose this one. Not only cheaper, but very effective. Between the thermostat heat control and the oscillation, this little guy heats up my den/office quite well.
This little guy isn't meant to be a heat blaster, but a subtle little guy that doesn't draw a huge amount of power. The best heater for your money is one that heats using the fewest $$$ both at the cash register and in my electrical bill.
This little guy is just great!

| I love this heater! It has everything I wanted: cool to the touch, tip over protection, and it heats an entire room! It also has an oscillating option that provides a pretty wide range. Another great feature is the thermostat that tells the current temperature. I've bought more than on and this is definitely a keeper! :) |

| I've used many brands of this style of heater and this is the best I've found. It heats a medium sized room quickly maintaining a pleasant temperature throughout the day. This heater has lasted longer than any other brand I've purchased. The easy on/off button is nice also. Other heaters have power knobs that turn or push down and twist and those break easily or become hard to use. This heater stays cool, runs quietly and is reliable. |

It is currently heating a 20x30 room with adjacent kitchen and some of the heat is going up stairs to a bedroom. The room is usually about 70 deg. F and my nephew sits at his computer in his pajamas.
It replaced a $200 eBay EdenPure (EP) which almost caught fire. The EP had a broken fan, fried thermostat and bearing problem then it tried to commit suicide. The Honeywell sits on top of the EP. LOL. :-(
If the other EP dies I will get another Honeywell. |

| When I opened the box I thought, "This won't work, it's about half the size I expected it to be." Still, I set it up in our moderate-sized family/TV room and tried it out. Easy to use and control and it did just what we wanted it for--taking the chill off the lower-level room that runs about 8-10 degrees below the rest of the house when it's cold out. Very pleased with it. Quiet too! |

I recently purchased a space heater for my son who was relatively recently diagnosed with MS. MS patients are sensitive to heat and cold, temp must be just right! I needed a space heater that oscillated and a unit where the temperature could be set, I also wanted quality more than just a low price. This unit from Honeywell, although marketed for kitchens of all things, worked great and looks good too, my wife was happy with both features. I've never used Amazon for buying appliances before but the online ordering process was straight forward and the product arrived as advertised. I think I'll give Amazon another try!

Great heater for office or cubicle!! A++

I just bought this heater for my office cubicle and I love it! This is a great product for not alot of money. So far I've noticed these pros and cons:
Pros:
* Energy saver - which is a nice way to help the environment.
* The temperature settings are nice, because it automatically turns off when it gets to the desired temp, instead of having to manualy turn it off! You can also turn it on to the high heat setting and it doesn't turn off automatically (but it no longer saves energy).
* The oscillation feature is really nice, so that it isnt just blowing on the same spot on my feet all day! You can also turn the oscillation off if you want to.
* Its not very loud... just a little white noise which doesn't bother me.
* lightweight
Cons:
The cord is very short, but it works for my cubicle since I have outlets right under my desk.
